Green Product

POSIFLEX has met the ISO 14001 environmental management system standards and RoHS, WEEE, and REACH specifications on managing and using hazardous substance and chemical products. POSIFLEX is also continuing to innovate in product R&D and designs to become the pioneer of fanless POS designs in the industry, thereby achieving the objective of green design products.

Responsible Minerals Sourcing

Posiflex is committed to have a responsible supply chain and supports conflict-free minerals sourcing.

Posiflex has asked all our suppliers to sign “Restriction on the Use of Conflict Minerals Letter” and to make sure the supplier is taking and will take due diligence within its supply chain to assure “DRC Conflict-Free” for the metals of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), tin (Sn) and cobalt (Co) are not derived from or sourced from mines in conflict areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), or illegally taxed on trade routes, either of which are controlled by non-governmental military groups, or unlawful military factions. Trade routes not confirmed to be “Conflict Free” include direct exports from the DRC, as well as exports through Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and Kenya (countries of whom the U.N. Security Council note are global export routes for DRC-mined minerals).

• Do a solid job in pollution prevention, and regularly monitor and control every source of pollution.
• Comply with all regulations of environmental protection and industrial safety, and go beyond them.
• Introduce energy-efficient, low pollution products, equipment and packaging material as design guidelines.
• Promote energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling and reusing of equipment, to achieve the goal of reducing environmental pollution.
• Maintain friendliness and communicate with relevant parties while asking suppliers and contractors to work together to promote environmental protection.
• The management should regularly review the effectiveness of environmental protection targets, objectives, and management plans, as well as establish a protocol for evaluating environmental protection performance and relevant metrics.
• Use materials that are harmless to the environment, and dedicate efforts towards the research and development of green products.
• There’s never an end to making improvements, so we must persevere. Through training and advocacy, we will let our employees and the public understand our environmental policies and our resolve.
